Your friend, Jen Len.

Hospitality is in my blood. I literally grew up in the business in my native Hawaii amidst my family’s Chinese restaurants. While attending Cal State Long Beach I found a greater fondness for bartending than broadcast journalism. Three pivotal years with Sommelier Michael Shearin & Bar Manager Jaymee Mandeville at Celestino Drago’s Drago Centro set me on a path of mixology and oenology that has since changed my life. Here, I was inspired to take my insatiable appetite for new and delicious foods and apply it to making drinks. At the historic Jonathan Club, I honed my skills as Assistant Sommelier and Mixologist for both properties for five years under Beverage Director Caitlin Stansbury. My wine certifications and mixing skills from Caña Rum Bar under mastermind duo Allan Katz & Danielle Crouch led me to the next chapter. They inspired me so much I jumped over to Las Vegas with them after 16 years in Los Angeles. We opened up drink, music, and art haven, Jammyland in the Las Vegas Arts District.

Since 2019, I’ve been back in Hawaii bartending, consulting, and educating on all things drinks and hospitality. You can usually find me passionately talking about my favorite spirits, foods, and travels while drinking responsibly and eating recklessly.
